@bosco222 you realised the intent of my questions straight away. Just trying to determine whether people posting TA posts on HC have any idea at all about what they have posted. My question has been answered!

Your not one of those terrible "day traders" are you? You know the ones people on HC keep on complaining about (this doesn't include me by the way)? If you are I suggest you start to use pivots (should be called what they really are - that is "Floor Trader Pivots") based on a Daily Time frame, as Floor Traders would use them, and not the Monthly Time frame pivots you posted in your first post. If anyone would like a description of how Floor Trader Pivots are used I'd be happy to provide this.

Actually I have another question. It seems every time you post another chart it raises more questions. The Stochastic, RSI and CCI indicators shown on your Heiken Ashi (HA) price charts are based on (calculated from) which Close, the Heiken Ashi Close (HAclose) or the actual SP Close? Personally I like Heiken Ashi when it is used as an indicator, but apart from moving averages I haven't seen any TAs applying other indicators to the HAclose. One big advantage is that there are no gaps in HA charts for the uneducated to fixate on!

Getting back to the OGX SP I agree that true direction of the SP will not be known until the daily volume traded goes back up to at least the average of around 9M to 10M shares per day. I think short term trading based on the current support and resistance levels (whatever you determine them to be) is the only sensible way to trade OGX at the moment.
