Nufarm announces Senior note offer

    Agricultural chemical company Nufarm (ASX:NUF) has announced plans to offer US$450 million worth of Senior unsecured notes.

    The notes will only be offered to qualified institutional buyers in the US and certain persons outside the US in offshore transactions.

    If the offer is successful, Nufarm will use the funds to repay amounts outstanding under the existing senior notes on issue.

    Last month the company completed the acquisition of a European product portfolio including over 50 crop protection formulations and more than 260 registrations for use in European markets.

    Shares in Nufarm (ASX:NUF) closed up 1.06% to $8.61.
