The fallout from Wayne Bennett’s acrimonious Broncos exit has continued with the master coach demanding a $400,000 payout from the club,

Paul Malone from the Courier Mail reports Bennett, who was sacked by the club on December 1, sent a legal letter last Friday in which he says he reserves the right to enforce court proceedings.
According to the report, the Broncos had until close of business Thursday to respond however the club has requested a month’s extension.
Bennett will effectively be suing his new employer after it was revealed the Rabbitohs had agreed to pay 50 per cent of any Brisbane payout to Bennett.
It comes despite the 68-year-old last month ruling out legal action and declaring his contract stoush with the Broncos was “not about money”.
