in the world of social media and the need to be "liked" via a thumbs up, or now a mark for GA, HC may want to consider what the likes of Facebook and alike offer... that is the identification of whom is giving the TU of GA to the public by hover the curser or clicking on the symbol...
when you click on "likes" on FB for example, others can see who liked the post...
Why I think this is important on HC is the need for credibility.. obviously if a "intelligent member" are seen to be giving a poster a TU then the credibility of the post would seem more worthy... however it is obvious a lot of posters will simply give a TU or a GA for a ramped up post supporting the stock to bring attention to it, when in fact the post has no substance.. those that give such TU and GA can be taken with a grain of salt so to speak.
Offering onlookers the identification of those that give credit would give us a sense of such credibility.. being that some posters really offer no substance to HC at all.
Though HC has a sense of social media via interaction, the humor thread, political, music forums etc, it is a site that would be classed as more serious and obviously the number one forum for stocks in Australia.. So what better to step up credibility of posters..
Personally, though many would "freak" about such, I would love to see true identification to some degree... this will definitely offer substance and make posters consider what they are posting... an account for "guests" that can read but not contribute, and an account that offers a true name that has been identified correctly via HC (eg..drivers licence), this will also stop multiple accounts..
Instead of silly nick names, real names.. real profiles... just like LinkedIn... this will give HC true substance, will offer quality throughout the site... people wont need to hide behind a screen and be deceitful, it will offer more truth to some degree... accountability and credibility will be true... why should we hide unless we have agendas
For such a serious site and for such intellectual content at times, why wouldn't HC require us to be identified, what do we need to hide... those that need to hide behind a nickname and alike seemingly cant be trusted, agendas and alike are more played... forcing us to have true public identities like LinkedIn will create one of the most substantial and credible stock forum sites in the world, not just Australia...
Think about it HC... lets take HC to the next level...
