In part I agree with Teddy. My experience with GA is mixed. On one hand a good idea, but GA abuse is obvious. Here's why. Recently a long absent poster returned to a forum I post on. Clearly he was popular and I have no issue what so ever with his contributions. But he can regurgitate almost identical information that has already been posted. The original poster might get one GA (if any) and 'returnee' might get multiples of GAs, based purely on the fact that he has a following. For what its worth, my opinion is that the percentage of thumbs-up/likes per post is a superior indication of contribution quality. The GA system is often based on popularity alone and NOT great analysis.
