I appreciate the time to reply but this is a legal issue to do with a sales and purchase agreement and conditions subsequent. Its got nothing to do with community support or popularity. The arena of commercial law is not particularly democratic.
I have trawled back and see other cases where listed companies with concessions in Indonesia who have , in what appears to be good faith, invested large amounts of money in Indonesia only to lose the concessions. In some cases these have been on technicalities such as disputes over conditions in the sales and purchase agreement.. Each of those companies have no end of presentations on how this cant happen to them and how "connected" they are and how certain they are. Yet it happened.
I cant find anywhere and wouldn't really expect to be disclosed the text of the original sales and purchase agreement so I am only generalizing here. In general S&P agreements contain clauses for the event of default on Conditions subsequent.
I am trying to get a handle on the risk of the fate of others befalling CKA even though it may be no particular fault of their own.
