IMO the parents should not have let him go, and the mother acknowledged that.

But that does not matter.

There were 4 cops, a young kid, who kept on shouting he was not resisting....

On his face on the ground, and they were beating him continuously with Batons.

He was being dealt with for disorderly conduct, he had no weapon, was not trying to harm anyone. Totally different to the Scissors case.

The police were not in any danger from him.

Definitely heavy handed, and unnecessary... amounting to to police brutality IMO.

But your opinion may differ.
