There's a Tesla semi driving around the country right now, and there's talk of even higher speed charge stations to serve them. So while I agree that further battery improvements are highly desirable, my eyes tell me that your comment "doesn't stack up for long haul stuff presently and never will" is not an accurate description of reality.
As long as I'm not booted from HC, I'll try keep the e-trucks thread going with market- and Lynas-pertinent stuff. Not all trucks are long-haul, not by a long shot.
