Some reasoned comment there bruutz, and well done so far to you with your short.
To be talking ROIC and NPAT's at this stage though is surely having a lend? People here are invested on the potential, not from looking in a rear view mirror. We will have dilution of some sort, not too much doubt there, and we will have a share price that floats somewhere between euphoria and despair. And some will trade that moving sentiment. Others just happy enough to sit the rollercoaster out, looking to lock away their CGT discounts as they watch a story unfold.
So to make a silly comparison, take Amazon's M.Cap - what is it, US700B ?! What did they earn last 1/4, US1.9b? So a PE around 100 after over 20yrs a public company, and with the tip it should beat Apple to a trillion.
Anyhoo, i'm certainly not arguing with you, as no-one here knows just where NUH will be positioned in a couple of years time. Investing is always about extrapolation isn't it. Each of us working different timetimes, and towards different outcomes. Yours is well known now, others not so much.
And to use that as a segue into where we might be shortly, fundamental news aside, here's a few comments around our chart;
Pennant we had broke, unfortunately to the downside
That 11c support we looked to have started to secure, broke
The 9.5c support line broke
And whilst some might think i should indulge in a bit of self-flagellation for not trading out on those heady 12c+ highs a week ago, that is not what i do...not very well, at least. Instead i just re-visit if i should stay, and why i took a stake in the first place. Profit taking after a run of 100%+ is always the bane of the inert investor, and perhaps we need to take a look at where TA starts forming support.
Through a re-trace, fibonacci is (in my mind) the most useful tool to help determine upcoming (or actual) levels of support. In a stock such as this, with some earnings, and surely even you would agree terrific potential, the 61.8 retrace normally is about the max. I notice your 7c prediction aligns with the 78.6 fib.
So IMO, we may dip to 8.5c (the 61.8 fib). And if we do there will be some support there as there always is.
Anyway enough ramble. Good luck with your short mate. I hope it is a large position you have taken, and that it helps provide us SP support then you decide to close it out.
