News: Anglo American to sell interest in Australian coal mine, page-24

    Interesting day....
Up $0.005 yesterday, and up $0.002 today. In the afternoon buyers returned.
I bought a sizeable parcel when the news broke of NT being appointed CEO. Well done to those who got in back in July with news of him, Paspaley's and Robinson's buying in.
Best to ignore the media pessimism - and there is tons of it! NT has the ability to see an opportunity where many seasoned players don't.
The freehold land value of Dartbrook (some 3400 hectares) has got to be worth $15-20M alone. So to pick up that "proven" deposit of 5MTPA (x 20 years) and land for $25M, with the other $25M (royalties) coming out of cashflows, is an absolute steal. By the time production starts, this mine could be worth $500M. Remember Anglo America had experts value it at $200M back in Jan 2015. The price of thermal coal back then was US$47. Currently $43. So the massive discount does not reflect the drop in coal price, but rather AA being in asset sell down mode. Make no mistake, NT has bagged a bargain!
I have no intention of selling until it gets somewhere around $0.08 - that's a market cap of $350M. Very doable in 6-12 months. Sit tight people...
