In the historical drilling at Antena-Xupe the best results seemed to be quite shallow, including:
+ GVD467:
[email protected]/t (from 11m) incl. 23m @2.4g/t (from 16m) and [email protected]/ton (from 33m);
+ GVP109:
16m @ 8.67g/t Au (12m - 28m) inc 3m @ 20.47g/t Au (13m - 16m), inc 2m @ 17.64g/t Au (23m - 25m)
From the results I saw, these shallow hits were down to only 55m (best to 39m) and down to 28m respectively.
OGX announced a program of 11 holes for 1600m drilling,
which gives an expected average hole depth of 145 metres.
This tells me the OGX geo team think that there may be more gold well beneath what Troy found.
This is in addition to the IP survey etc, as discussed above, which indicate potential gold mineralisation over a much wider area than the open-cut pits that Troy dug in a period of much lower gold prices.
