- To those of us who are justifiably concerned about our current situation, could I suggest we take 6 minutes to re-look at the video by geologists Klaus and Marcel:
- You will notice that the question isn't if there is further gold mineralisation there ...but how much gold mineralisation is there.
- It's easy to gloss over this other potential mine when we have so much going on, but we are now getting to the pointy end of the stick regarding results, and a positive outcome will have a fantastic impact if we have: good grades; decent intercepts and low coverage.
- There is a lot of info in this video and also the ASX report on the sixth of March, but the part that really stands out to me is this:
I'm not trying to suggest that this is a panacea for the less then positive results from yesterday, because that is not the case and Cascavel has further commissioning work before it is fully up to speed ...but we now know all that stuff. Yes I think it will get there in the next 4-6 weeks and I will pay it some more attention in coming weeks. Antenna on the other hand has been quietly bubbling away on the back burner and we should pay it some attention now ...because news is getting closer.
- This is the historical drill hole GVR476 "showing that the anomaly is related to the ore and that the survey is precise".
- So they came up with a theory about how the different outcropping previously mined areas of mineralisation may be connected, they tested it with Induced Polarisation ...and low and behold it matched a historical drill result. For geologists to say that the survey is precise and that it is related to the ore is very positive language to use and indicates to me that we will have positive results ...because if IP survey is proven accurate in ONE instance in a specific geological setting (like that wasn't a fluke), then it is likely to be accurate over all of that specific geological setting ...and that is what they are saying.
- What does this all mean? If you look at the above map you will see that the small areas of dark purple are the previous open cut mining pits, while the light purple is the mineralisation connecting them (much larger area).
- Lets move on to our current notorious announcement and you may have glossed over some curious use of the English language:

- They are so confident of an Antenna, that they are already looking at how they may restart operations alongside Sertao. Why would that be? Well because they are both the same type of sulphide ore requiring a cyanide plant.
- So what are we waiting for:

- For the purpose of scale, here is the APPROXIMATE Antenna survey results, along with the new Tintero and Cascavel areas:

- As Jimone alluded to, Troy resources had genuine reasons to only develop the surface mineralisation, including the fact that they were committed to a separate mining operation in the north of Brasil, and made the decision to dismantle the plant and move it to the new location. Their geologists suspected folding and that there was further mineralisation, but Antenna-Xupe became stranded assets when they moved the processing plant hundreds of klms north, so all local exploration ceased.

also ...lets not forget the Cobalt rock chip samples
