You can certainly surmise that there are a few red faces at Toyota over the share px performance of ORE.
Japanese culture is well known for doing the "honourable" thing when you make mistakes. Is this what is happening here? Again, I don't know.
Key thing for me is that the accident prone guy is going, and how will the market react to that?
His experience and expertise will still be available to the board, so there is no technical loss.
Hopefully this will be the catalyst for some stability and smooth implementation of stage 2.
You never know with this stock though, it may just encourage the shorters to get more excited.
