IMO, Trump is being lured out of his debt here because, IMO, in the short term both China & Russia (both border North Korea) will want Kim to continue to taunt Trump & the USA until:
(a) The USA lifts its Russian sanctions 7 recognises Russia's right to the Crimea
(b) China will want to use North Korea as leverage with the USA re removal of US tarrifs on Chinese products, the removal of
US troops & war equipment from the region and the return of Taiwan to the Peoples' Republic.
Neither China or Russia will want a failed North Korea on their border given the object lessons of Iraq, Libya and what looks now like a failed Syria. China has already said that it will support North Korea if the US strikes first which is reminiscent of the 1950s
Korean war. This North Korean debacle requires sophisticated diplomacy; not a Trump-cut real estate deal!
