Yes, I was challenging wotsup on the basis that cherry picking verses in scripture can result in many different beliefs that contradict each other. I gave him examples of those that contradicted his own beliefs based on scripture.
And right there in BOLD is why our debate went in circles BECAUSE I would NOT have a bar of cherry picking which you would not have a bar of.

And yes I know full well how much time and dedication many have put in to come to their conclusions, but what you don't appear to grasp, once someone has a seed set, it is near on impossible to even get a peak over the fence to even see a possible error, which is needed to progress. Other wise you WILL be interpreting from the wrong angel.
They go to great lengths with long essays (our's & us, Elohim for an example), and more, to try and create something that's not there to firm up the mindset view. Straight away when you see some of these, you should be smelling a rat. They often go no where to boot, so I can only assume it's to try and baffle?
There is no question about it and sad, the Bibles translations have definitely been done with a trinity influence, (to a degree) causing some errors.
The errors, coincidence or not, seem to be where the trinity needs support and some times just a slight tweak, but big effect.
I have been examining the Greek re the NT and Jesus's involvement in creation and I can tell you - I am gob smacked, quite a different picture being painted.
So as you can imagine, it goes through your mind that you must have it wrong, surely you think,,, because people have been at this for years. So off you go in another direction, and bugger me the same findings.
