Yes, a dream .... "apparently spoke".

Abraham was well acquainted with the use of alcohol to clear away the prison of literalism and receive inspiration direct.
No attempt at comparison but I can affirm the effect of "a deep sleep and great darkness" when enlisting the help of "wine".

It is as Abraham knew also a two edged sword.
