Your just refusing the obvious and that being Jesus acknowledged "only" what Thomas wouldn't believe and THAT is well and truly in ones face if one only looks, not just once either.
Thomas didn't believe the Lord Jesus had risen WHO Thomas felt and saw and that is what Jesus acknowledged.
Blessed are those that don't SEE ME, and believe.
So really, it was a bit of a dressing down of Thomas.
