Hmm, is one of US getting confused here?
Your words here - Jesus never corrected Thomas when he (Thomas) addressed Jesus as "my Lord and my God".
NOTHING TO CORRECT!
From what I saw of your post on this matter, (above) you said Thomas didn't correct him.
People use that line in saying, that if Jesus was The Almighty God, he would have corrected Thomas.
So did I get the sh,,, end of the stick in thinking that's what you were suggesting, if so I was wrong and my apologies.
It appears from your post, you think "I" said Jesus corrected him?
All Jesus affirmed was the doubt Thomas had leading up to this and THAT being, Jesus as he said, Had risen, alive and we cannot imply anything else unless we want to add.
But from the prior message back a few chapters, Jesus told them, Thomas in ear shot, that The Father dwelt IN Him.
Hence Thomas acknowledging Jesus as Lord and now knowing that all Jesus said was true, he then says my God referring to God within Jesus = Simple's.
