But we are then told through whom the spirit is actually poured out. (Acts 2:33) Therefore, because he was exalted to the right hand of God and received the promised holy spirit from the Father, he has poured out what you see and hear.
Pour out, shed, bestow liberally.
The promise - John 14:16 - And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
Another as in replace what you now have - The Holy Spirit (which I say the Bible tells us is God ha), which was IN Jesus but if you prefer, with/on Jesus.
Hence when he was to go, that would go with him, as in, while I'm in the world, I am the light of the world, so this light is the Holy Spirit God.
Not wanting to rock your boat but ha, that was the True light John 1:9 which is The Father.
John 14:26 - But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
So Jesus effectively, was handing over the batten that He "brought" into the world of His God & Father = Spirit/Word/Light = Life. Jesus now being the Door.
So hopefully, you will all become children of the Father of lights.
