Sad part about it, the OT well and truly covers in numerous verses that God and God alone in quite a few verses, created.
Jesus himself says, do you not know that He (God) created them male and female in the beginning.
And yet many claim, Jesus was there (ours & Us) helping him?
So then we come to the NT (OT has to interpret the NT), many lost sheep ha, think John's opener is ref to Jesus = wrong as up to verse 13 it's all about God. John recaps what was before, existing introducing Jesus at 1:14, hence he never mentions Jesus until then. Otherwise he would have said, in the beginning was Jesus or the Son and Jesus/Son was with God..........= Drrrr ha!
So then we are only left with 2-3 other verses where examination as to whether things were created "By" Jesus need examining.
Well, well,,,,, where you see the word "By" Jesus,,,,,,that word is supposed to come from the Greek word DIA and GUESS what,,,,, By is not even and option to draw from = NOT.
DIA - on account of, by reason of, for the sake of, because of, through,,,,, these are the reasons God and God alone created.
Jesus in the mind and plans of God (future) was slain before the foundation of the world, he was the beginning of the creation of God in this plan and the firstborn of this plan (mind only) FOR Himself and Jesus.
God's pleasure.
I have spent a reasonable amount of time examining some of these areas and at times when you look at an actual Greek word in say the Interlinear, you will see the said English word that it's supposed to be and in most Bibles.
Now when you actually copy this Greek word itself and search various sites on the net and paste it, to get it's meaning, hallow, hallow, the said English word is not to be found or is effectively in the end of the word options, the least likely one to use.
The above I gave on DIA, it's very easy to establish the intended meaning, theme of the word.
Now the rule when interpreting the right word selection, you have to align it with the topic, message etc.
So as you can imagine, most are the trinity family, hence trinity flavored words more often than not get used or invented.
Not my opinion that counts here,, but by gosh, we can't tell the Greeks what their words mean or change them.
So basically and as difficult as it is to do, one needs to really hold a neutral position so the results are not compromised.
And I note at times, Coppo is pretty good in this regard and he also appears to have a good eye for detail.
