Religion - Religare - meaning 'Return to God' (A godly/good way of life). Obviously addressed to sinners.
We don't need to believe in anything to treat our fellow men (humans) with dignity and respect. Anyone who believes in 'Holy Mary' etc. in order to receive 'salvation' is seriously deluded by our Master Satan, the Catholic Church.
