True batteries are a carrier, but read the paper.
There is no benefit to Hydrogen, once you review/understand the energy conversions, and the energy sources.
Batteries charged by a Natural Gas electricity generator is more viable from the standpoint of efficiency.
Obviously solar and wind is even more viable, and the EV with batteries gives the world this flexibility.
