    true, but technically.. EV batteries are also an energy carrier, not an energy source... and petrol fuel tanks are energy carriers, not sources...

    The benefit of Hydrogen and Battery EV's is that the pollution can happen elsewhere and the source delivered to the EV nice and clean :c)

    Imagine fuel stations that don't stick of toxic fumes and pollute the waterways when it rains heavily...
