Thanks for those two articles John. I don't think people realise the gradual effect this is having on the markets. A bit like the frog in the pot of water slowly cooking. This an international problem that is in the too hard basket. Eventually the market is destroyed through a loss of credibility, to be taken over by a disruptive technology that can offer a fairer way of dealing with shares in a company. Talk to a taxi driver about Uber! Or a blacksmith about the car replacing the horse. Change can and will come when there is a perception that the current system is not serving fairly for all.
I really do think platforms like the Asx and the like need to address this problem or Govt regulation will be bought into the equation, then the rot will really set in.
Just a thought.
