I think the "colossal error" is drawing any comparison between @Paulc8166's point and the rights and wrongs of Kelly O'Dwyer in the Royal Commission.
His point is quite valid and simply reflects his opinion that he has successfully invested in the market even if and when it has been manipulated. Presumably, you believe you can do the same as he does else why are you invested?
Creating straw man arguments in his name (arguments that you then demolish) is unreasonable in my opinion. No one should reasonably disagree with the seriousness of the findings of the Royal commision and I see no evidence that @Paulc8166 disagrees.
Why not address what he has said instead of making up what you think he might say?
