Agree with you, the last few days the posts have been unnecessary and I cannot gain any mileage from them. Yesterday I attended a presentation and two companies which presented were bio techs. One was Oncosil and the other was Paradigm. Interesting to note that the top management of Paradigm were ex Mesoblast personnel. One very important point,I got from Oncosil CE when I made the observation about a number of Australian Companies that are making great progress in the field of medicine and potential cures for life threatening diseases. The CE while acknowledging that we have great talent and dedication in this field, was of the view that what is lacking is marketing. This is a valid point and I hold a view that while Mesoblast has products which have great potential for success, the Board lacks the business and marketing acumen. Looking at the what Mesoblast should be now and what it is now, there is a gap which I believe that with the right strategies and right expertise would have overcome the cash flow problems and found them a partner to steer the company forward. The Board of Mesoblast has tried to do it on its own and while they may get there eventually, there is an opportunity cost to both shareholders and the Board. This is my view and others may think differently.
