To which you respond with, "You one day hey?", then I think it is eminently reasonable for me to have assumed that you were referring to my involvement in short-selling

So, no; it was not paranoia that prompted me to interpret your question as relating to me being short the stock, but it was an objectively logical comprehension of a sequence of dialogue.
