The company is unique having enormous long term upside but chronic short term focus of cash burn outlook, with the result becoming a trading stock like no other for the market players looking just for volatility. They have the upper hand again right now. I can think of numerous other stocks they (players) made hay trading in and out but most crashed and burned within a handful of years.
IMO retail holders like myself have pretty much set their limit position and cannot fund bigger holdings and must sit tight. Bigger LT holders will come for big mouthfuls when brokers can match the lines - and this is entirely off screen stuff only for the few. I think @vinn is correct, the short players are IMO generally just parasite trader trash of the kind well known in Sydney CBD money circles but can never seriously move the stock. MSB is way bigger than them because substantial holders M & G, Capital Research will ruin their lunch whenever an up move hits suddenly. With SI holding his nerve I think we can sweat it out, meanwhile take over heat swirls through the biotech sector and suitors for our assets will emerge - immediately swelling our valuation without lifting a finger. Just keep trialling.
