And considering everyone says internet business the way to go why are most shopping centres expanding...l read somewhere myer leases are long and a decent price so much so that landlord would want them gone and lease to smaller players at higher prices thats where myers should be looking at doing if allowed to sub lease or turn itself into part business hub where online businesses can use floor space at the premium price to showcase products
Aldi has proven with its weekly buy gimmick that aussies love a bargain regardless if stock is really low
As to shorters not sure myer is worth shorting as it was at higher prices but big players will want as cheap as possible then turn it around
