    Being omnipotent doesn't imply being innovative.
    There are many more questions along that same line:
    * Why did Adam get nipples? On Eve, they fulfill a purpose, apart from looking attractive. On Adam, they're wasted.
    * Why did Adam and Eve both have belly buttons? Okay, Adam might have been lowered into Eden by an umbilical cord. Genesis is rather vague about that. Maybe Darwin was right to a degree, and Adam was hatched by a surrogate chimp. That would explain his belly button. But Eve's?
    * Why did Adam start off with an odd number of ribs? It says that Eve was made from one of his ribs; and she was not planned, but came in as an afterthought because Adam was bored. That raises the suspicion that the original construction was pretty sloppy with Adam having a spare rib by accident, not by design.
