Moody's US retail fears

The ratings agency reports there were some 30 retail chain bankruptcies in the US in 2017. Most of these were at the smaller end of the scale though.

Of course we've just had the ToysRUs collapse, which left
around 33000 people out of a job.

But Moody's is predicting there will be a "deluge" of similar cases through this year and 2019.

How much is due to management failure and how much is thanks to Mr Bezos.
