    From the article:

" The military foray into Syria is adding to geopolitical risks for the country, which will become more marked and deeper the longer the conflict continues, Moody’s said on Wednesday."

    Reality

The Turkish propaganda may be completely false but the reality is FAR FAR WORSE.

Its not possible to easily cut this long story short except to say that within the current grab for land and hydrocarbons Turkey will continue confront Iran, Russia and the Syrian Government both directly and though Islamist and Gray Wolf fascist militias  and Turkey will continue to threaten uniformed US troops in the field.

Dictator Erdogan's actions have  given renewed cause to extremists within the PKK and so the war with the Kurds will now continue indefinitely.  Meanwhile, Iran is starting to woo Kurdish factions who have now been betrayed by both the US and Russia.  There is a risk that once the Syrian conflict is eventually over that Iran will covertly or directly support Kurdish rebellion within Turkey (assuming that the Mullahs can first reach accommodation with their own Kurdish populations).  There are a lot of ifs but they all lead in a negative direction.

    cheers
