How on earth would you expect a volunteer mod to sit there dedicating their entire lives to vetting every single HC post. That is why there is a report post button.

Whether there has been any relaxation of rules since my mod days I cannot say but generally speaking people should take note of the above maths and realize that it's not possible to monitor the site without the assistance of ordinary posters reporting breaches.

hotcopper should have more moderators. It may want to post a general invitation asking members who are interested to apply.

May be they can have moderators to specifically look after stocks related forums and others to look after the General and Politics forums to separate the work loads.
