Why is everyone so speculative of a takeover? I have my doubts...

Why is everyone so speculative of a takeover? I have my doubts about that. But on the off chance they do... we will get paid way more than current stock price. So depending on your average buy in, a takeover would work to your advamtage. Yea maybe I could x4 my money perhaps but I am still in the 90% range IMO that they will get it done and I can x10 or x20 my money. Either way I ain’t really scared. Patience is the key to this game guys. Nobody ever made it big without a little stress!!
