HotCopper asks for a sentiment. They should not. Disclose maybe ok and sufficient.

They ask, so I put my belief. Just as I thought it was a Buy in November 2010 when most were selling.

Sentiment of one individual does not matter. But my sentiment is Buy.

To make comments as you requested:

DPS has fallen from 28c to 22c in 8 years. This is NOT because EPS has fallen in that time. NOT because revenue of 25.9 billion has fallen in that time. Just reduced by management as a good idea.

What has happened to the EPS (actual) is as listed in the commsec print. Fell to 26.1 EPS in 2011 and not as forecast (32.7) in my old records. So you can see that forecasts are likely wrong. If anything EPS has improved in the past 3 years compared to those 2010-2011 days.

Why I think the price is likely to be higher in the future is my belief in the future earnings potential of the company. The field it is in - technology. The size of the company. And my belief that the 2010 prices under $3.00 was too low, extremely low and caused by the Future Fund selling pressure, not the fundamentals of the company or earning potential of the company. Hence the subsequent 164% rise in the price from 2010 + 10 x dividends to 2015.

The values of $2.93, PE of 8.96, EPS 32.9c, market cap 36.458 billion at that time and the current $3.11, PE 9.2, EPS 33.8c, market cap 37.226 billion can be connected? has some meaning? I don't know. But they are starting to match. And remember what happened to the share price after these values were hit in 2010 .

Look at market cap in 2015 when share price was $6.00's. It was 75 billion!! EPS was 34.5c, PE was 6.74/0.345=19.5!!! crazy. Compare that to the current price of $3.11,  forecast 2019 EPS of 34.3c and PE of 9.2. Better value now don't you think folks? I know people want to buy right at the bottom and want it for $2.00, but she is good value now folks and may never get to the dream $2.00 per share.

Excessive fear, then excessive greed. Somewhere in between is price free of and clean of fear and greed and I believe that is in the band I have drawn (3.50-4.20). We are currently below that band. So that is another reason my sentiment is Buy and why I think price is likely to rise "back" into that area sometime in the future. Not tomorrow morning or next week. But in the future. And TLS is paying us 7% return to wait for that future day. What is the problem folks? Just as it has shot up too high to the upside, it is now shooting down too hard due to fear. Fear and Greed. Down then up. Given the rapid change in technology and the world we live, given the demand for data, given that TLS may be successful in other revenue generating businesses, the share price in 10 years could be back to $6.00's and higher. But back to inside the band first.
