You have pretty much summed it up. We are talking about tech
with ATEN and you can't sit still on tech for 8yrs and expect it to stay relevant. I think it's clear the new MD sees this and the strategy to acquire other operations is a strong sign that a plan B and C is now required.
There's nothing wrong with what he is doing in principal, in fact it makes perfect sense. But if you were in ERJ/VPR for the early mover advantage into new power technology and the scalability of that tech... the window has closed IMHO.
