I feel some of the discussions and comparisons with Microgrid stuff/solar + batteries is off at a bit of of a tangent. At this stage the ATEN selling point is largely hard money stuff that miner's can get their teeth into.

If I have a 10Mw station for my mine, and you can give me 11.5 or 12 meg for a % of the cost of going to EDL, Wartsila or Cat or the like and just buying another gen set - that's what sells ATEN. The fact the I get some renewable/green subsidies, just makes it more economic.

The 'look how green we are' part is the steak knives that come with the purchase I reckon.
