    Refractory Heavy Metals (RHM) represent raw material impurity most avoided in most glass compositions. RHM include kyanite, sillimanite, andalusite, ZIRCON, corundum, chrome and others. They do not melt in most glass compositions and end up unmelted. A narrow grain size range is also important.
