Novartis' CEO Narasimhan (which just did make it to the top spot last month) has sold the over-the-counter business for a serious amount of money (as that is "no longer central to the strategy"). He newly targets: Breakthroughs for CANCER and other diseases....
Hence, JIMHO: Genentech has the best connections to IMU. Novartis has the funds and the intention.
Whichever company it will be - let's hope for a great deal whenever that should come about.
