Your right no manufacturer will be able to rely on pure algorithmic based computational power that is based in the cloud. They will need an on-board component that can adapt to every 'original' incident that needs to be determined within a very short space of time.
Why we are at it, we can put a chip into every street post of roadside sensor to extend the accuracy of the learning environment. This is the beauty of brainchip.
The first sensor detects a pattern and passes that to the next sensor and slowly a pattern appears; a pedestrian walking down the street bingo; we have a composite piece of information in real time.
