What my heading really meant to say was Sally McManus ACTU is helping to destroy private sector employment and together with any proposed wage rises will only help Public Sector workers incomes and blow out the unfunded liabilities of the government Superannution funds.
The private sector should be fearful of the ALP supported policy ideas of the ACTU impacting on their ability to employ people on a casual basis. This policy if implemented if ALP wins next election will imo affect other employment sectors and lose jobs. Imo it's already having an effect now to a minor degree and I'm not sure the lull in retail sales and car sales has anything to do with it or if the Banking RC is causing it but only time will tell.
