The tenements were supposed to be granted within four months of submission to the mining minister, but as you have pointed out they have not been granted. This is Mauritania and from friends that have worked in that country things in the office can be slow, especially when dealing with the government.
But when the government assures a company that they will be granted soon it is pretty good news either way you look at it.
This is he opinion of close friends, but thats the best I can do. Sorry not anything more concrete but if there was something more concrete out there it would have been announced to the positive or negative. It comes down to your belief in the transparency of the management and I can't imagine Peter Reeve issuing false hope as to what the government has assured him.
