Thanks for the link. I do find it funny that India wants to have 22 smart cities yet if you walk around the place it looks like the cities are about to crumble. Also with over 1.2 billion people and so much cheap labor, it would amaze me if they gave jobs to robots over the people. Not saying it won't happen.
I get FBR working in places like the rich oil states and first world countries where people can be re-skilled and economy can mold itself around these tech changes. But for a country like India, who has unemployed skilled labor, its madness.
But as the article states, some municipal regions are obviously catering for it, so we cannot discount it happening.
