Fellow LPI investors, many of whom are long termers and have backed the truck up more than once over the last couple of years to load up on LPI. THE MARICUNGA PROJECT'S FUNDAMENTALS HAVE NOT CHANGED. The Litio tenement ambiguity and the old code versus new code (Litio) ground has been there for all to see from day one. It was always going to be addressed at some point in time and that time is now. As Martin recently tweeted to our good friend Swami2, addressing the Codelco/Litio issue is part of the natural course of doing business.

Despite this perceived distraction, LPI/MSB have proceeded with developing Maricunga on the basis that the granting of a CEOL and extraction quota for Litio will be the icing on the cake, AND it will be. In the meantime MSB will continue to develop the project utilising the old code tenements and the best untapped lithium resource anywhere. The old code ground alone has strong potential to produce a JORC resource of over 2 million tonnes at 1000 plus mg/l Li - a resource all other lithium hopefuls can only dream of. Lodgement of the EIA this month will be another message to the market that LPI/MSB is getting on with the job of becoming the next lithium producer in Chile.

In the meantime, the new Chilean Government/Minister for Mining is committed to streamlining the country's mining code, which I am sure will address some of the archaic provisions addressing the exploitation of lithium. The new Government wants to unlock US$50 billion of new investment in its mining sector and that includes Maricunga. The downstream processing opportunities associated with the exploitation of lithium brine are enormous and this could present additional opportuntites for LPI/MSB in Chile. In terms of Codelco and its ambitions for the Maricunga, I feel it offers LPI or LPI/MSB, an opportuntiy to augment its presence on that salar, but not in the short term. The short term is all about the current project which I am 100% sure the current Chilean Government will fully support through to completion. It will send an appropriate signal to the international community that Chile is open for business. Also, Chile, Australia and 9 other countries just signed the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) in Santiago and I am sure the new Chilean Government wants to present its free market credentials to fellow members of the TPP.

I have stepped away from watching the price action of LPI on a daily basis because I dont need to monitor it. The current plans that Martin and our JV partners have for the Maricunga will be executed and I have a feeling there will be more to come. The current price presents a MASSIVE BUY opportunity for those who want to add to their holding, and new investors seeking exposure to the EV and other battery revolution. To long term holders, be patient and stay strong as there are good times ahead. Onwards and upwards.
