After reading this article, which specifically discusses Connexion Media and the recent Security Shift Group (SSG) acquisition, I get the distinct feeling that ultimately CXZ may be attempting to set themselves up as a juicy take over target.
Obviously, in the mean time the acquisition makes sense for other reasons, such as new reliable income, new talent coming on board, diversification of the client portfolio and the expansion of what CXZ can offer to clients.
No doubt the CXZ share price has been beaten down to 0.8c for good reason, but that doesn't mean it will stay that way forever. Maybe it is time for an open minded reassessment.
