    I don't like either as they keep underperforming the ASX200 index for the past 1, 3, 5, 7 and 10 year periods so

    why would you bother ? 
    BKI performance has been particularly abysmal,  so if I had to choose one of those 2, it would be AFI.

    AFI  share price + dividends        11.8              5.7                  6.9

    BKI  total shareholder return        - 3%            4.5%               6.9%               8.1% p.a

    BKI  portfolio performance            8.6              4.8%               6.5                  7.5% p.a       


    IMO these funds do not deserve the venerable status that many people regard them

    and there are much better options these days.
