How about the state government gets its policies in order and directs the network providers to stop replacing poles and wires and start installing microgrids starting with this region in WA.
It would be a great PR exercise in the region hit by storms. If the area was declared a natural disaster zone I’d say the $$ required to rebuild infrastructure would not need policy change and would be immediately provided through emergency funding.
