I don't think BM need to try and push the SP higher by buying up shares from loose hands because they can set the SP alight with just a stroke of the pen, i.e. a superior offer to Merck. But with the SP starting to slowly push higher, makes you wonder whether something is stirring in the background and maybe the smart punters have got a sniff of a counter offer? We can all live in hope!
