It is not about tax free income. It is about retired people being encouraged to save and pay yourself a pension - rather than spend everything and get a free pension from the taxpayers.
If you punish those who save and become self-funded and reward those who spend and sapsuck everything from welfare payments then the country goes broke.
On this one, labor is being very anti-labor because if you make big profits and have lots of income you can have all the tax paid on FF dividends refunded to you, but if you don't then you get nothing refunded and we will keep it all.
