The 250 jobs they contracted out last year went to Serco, a UK multinational. It is likely they are the frontrunner again.
What dunce's we have in charge undermining our economy. Have they even heard of the
multiplier effect where government money is best spent within Australia using Australian firms. The money cascades through the economy changing hands from government to business to worker to shopkeeper/mechanic/builder.
Using overseas contractors sees a large chunk of the money go from the government to the multinational to overseas accounts = Lost from our economy forever.
